YMCA Camp Kirkwood Summer Overnight Programs
Ready for the BEST. WEEK. EVER? Pack your bags and spend a week overnight at YMCA Camp Kirkwood where Wi-Fi is out and adventure is in! Leave the ordinary behind and dive into a week of non-stop fun, new friendships, and personal growth. You'll bunk up in a cozy cabin with 10-12 fellow campers, guided and supported by two awesome, fully trained counselors who are with you every step of the way. Here's the coolest part: you design your own camp experience! Pick a major (your main jam) to focus on, then sprinkle in a few electives (just because they sound awesome). Whether you're into paddling across the lake, hitting bullseyes at archery, conquering the power pole, or chilling with arts & crafts, we've got something for everyone.
Camp Kirkwood Christmas Camp
Join us for a festive weekend at Camp Kirkwood filled with holiday cheer, camp traditions, and all your favorite camp activities with a Christmas twist! This overnight experience is the perfect chance for campers to return to their favorite place or try overnight camp before summer! Campers will stay overnight in our cabins, enjoy meals together in the dining hall, and spend the weekend participating in classic Kirkwood activities like archery, ziplining, ropes course challenges, camp games, campfires, crafts, and more, all with a festive holiday twist! Drop-off: Friday, December 11; 5-6pm Pick-Up: Sunday, December 13; Following our closing ceremony at 11am.
Camp Kirkwood Summer Day Camp
Designed for campers ages 5–15, Day Camp at YMCA Camp Kirkwood is the perfect blend of exploration, play, and personal growth. Each day, campers are grouped by age and guided by caring, trained counselors as they discover exciting land and water activities — from swimming and archery to nature hikes, creative arts, and camp-wide games. It’s the classic camp experience with the comfort of returning home each evening — the perfect way to build confidence, curiosity, and lifelong memories under the Carolina sun!

Laugh, Play, and Explore at Camp Kirkwood
From sun-up to sundown, there’s something for everyone at Camp Kirkwood! Our sparkling 10-acre lake is perfect for fishing, canoeing, paddleboarding, kayaking, or just splashing around on the lake rafts.
On land, the fun never stops—take a dip in our outdoor pool, hike scenic trails, tackle the high and low ropes courses, soar on the zip-line, aim for bullseyes at our archery and BB gun ranges, or test your courage on the Swing By Choice and power pole.
Looking for teamwork and skill-building? We offer outdoor education and team-building classes for school groups and retreats.
